
One of potential danger for milk and its various products is microbia, especially the existence of pathogen germs. Mikrobia pathogen can result in milk damage and bring illness to human. For example the infection and food poisoning that come from the milk product.
The quality control mechanism system is needed in order to maintain the quality of milk. Such as the condition for dairy cattle livestock breeding, some of them did not yet satisfy and still was covered by various hindrances in his development. Results of the research that was carried out by Djoko Winarso between October 2006 and March 2007 in the territories of KUD* DAU, KUD Karangploso, KUD pujon and KUD Ngantang, located along the road of Malang - Pasuruan showed that there were differences of the milk quality at the level of the livestock farmer, the collector's post, and KUD in 4 territories. The decline of milk quality especially happens when it was tested at the collector's posts. The level of protein, lactose and SNF did not show the significant difference.
